“I work in the construction industry and after putting my back out at work one Friday I booked an osteopath appointment at Anahata. The receptionist was very professional and helpful over the phone and advised I have a session with Venetia so I saw her later that day.
I have had problems with my back in the past and the last time I injured my back like this I had to lay flat on my back on painkillers and valium for a week.
Venetia was very professional asked me several questions about how I hurt my back, what kind of work I did, my lifestyle etc. The she examined and manipulated my back, whilst explaining what she was doing and why. Her touch was gentle but firm.
I could feel the pain and discomfort in my back easing almost immediately as she loosened the tight knotted muscles.
After she had finished I felt loads better: my back was still a little sore but I had full range of movements back again!
My back got progressively better over the weekend and I was back to work on Monday, as good as new.
I have no doubt that Venetia saved me from a painful week on my back full of drugs.” — Ian
