This restorative Yin class helps you to ease into the week ahead by offering a safe space to fully relax.
Yin yoga specifically focuses on the body’s deepest tissues, ligaments, joints, bones, fascia networks, and meridians. This differs from Yang yoga practices like Vinyasa yoga, which primarily targets muscles. The poses of Yin are passive stretches and are held for longer periods (up to 5 minutes).
This slow, meditative class invites you to find a regenerative inner calm and offers a full reset to your nervous system
You know your own body better than anyone else. I welcome students to share any disabilities, injuries or mobility issues that they may have prior to the class either via email or in-person. Props are readily available for use during the classes, and I will always demonstrate different variations of the pose that may help you to find more comfort. I may give gentle assists in the postures, always with your permission.
